July 2013 sees the Golden Anniversary of the Royal Welsh Show at Llanelwedd, just seven miles from Llandrindod Wells. This event regularly attracts something like a quarter of a million visitors, and there is something for everyone interested in agriculture, forestry, outdoors living, food or arts and crafts.
With the added attraction of looking back over 50 years of the show, this is bound to be a bumper year for attendance and exhibitors. Preparations at the showground are well in hand and the weather forecast is looking good.
Accommodation is always at a premium during the RWS, so if you are planning a trip, early booking is highly advisable. Greylands Guesthouse offers a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and easy access to the Show via park and ride sites just a couple of miles away.
