Greylands Guest House What Our Guests Say

"Skylark room on the top floor is en-suite and very 'useable'. It does face the road and if you need the window open, as I do, can be noisy due to traffic. However the bed was comfy and the room was clean and well kitted out.

Morning breakfast was excellent and the owners of the guest house are a very personable couple; Highly recommended! "

"A wonderfully warm welcome when we arrived despite the wet weather. Our room was newly decorated and very pleasing. The atmosphere throughout our stay was one of reuniting with a happy family both in terms of the other guests and meeting up again with Larnie and Lynne. As before we have had another great stay and booked up to return in the summer."

"Friendly and very helpful host. Comfortable beds. All the usual facilties in the room. Decent breakfast and plenty of it. The room was a little cramped and decor tired but still perfectly acceptable. All you need for a comfortable overnight stay at very reasonable price. Good value for money.

"Staying at Greylands we got the very best of warm welcomes. The personal touch went over and beyond the usual terms of service as we were helped with luggage and an efficient booking into our room. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed with refreshments, seating, rails for clothes, and comfortable beds.

As guests, all you had to do, was be ready to enjoy your stay, using the beautiful lounge and dining room at any time of the day or evening. Bring along your smile ruler, as we so enjoyed the breakfast whilst looking through a huge window over the Mid Wales landscape. You can be guaranteed that your sense of full enjoyment will grow by the hour. Thank you so much Larnie and Lynne, for enabling our week to be filled with pure delight. "

"A very convenient overnight stop- we stayed for just one night on a motorbike tour of wales. Larnie was very helpful with knowledge of the local area and helping us with the bikes. Just perfect for what we wanted."

"Was at a conference in Llandridod and balked at paying the prices in the Metropole. The guest house was close to the town centre for the pavillion and provided everything I needed from a stay: a quiet night, a good sleep and a good breakfast. I stayed in the cheapest room which didn't have an ensuite but was aware of that when I booked - the split floor arrangement was odd but worked fine. An excellent option for those on a budget.... "

"Stayed at Greylands for 3 days when taking driving test, received a friendly welcome and first-rate full english breakfast. B & B in quiet location near to railway station. En suite single room was well appointed and comfortable with tv and free wi-fi. Would definitely visit again"

TripAdvisor Reviewer
"Lovely place to stay with clean and comfortable room and fabulous view for excellent breakfast. Proprietors were fantastic, bikes garaged, lift to pub, plenty of help planning ride routes and places to eat, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely go back."

"The chance of a lifetime to stay at Greylands: there is nothing grey about it, but pure fun from the moment you arrive to the end of your stay. Breakfast is up, up and away anything that you have ever had before. Nothing, but nothing is too much for Larnie. I cannot praise Larnie and Lynne highly enough for making our stay so, so comfortable and delightful. This is twenty one star accommodation. The best hotels in London keep a diary of your needs and wants, i.e. The Savoy, but these hoteliers give you so much fun you did not know that you could have so much fun. Just try it! "

"I will advise you when you go to Llandridod, go to Greylands Guest House. Very nice ppl. They don't treat a guest as a guest, they treat them like they're family members, once again thanks. By the way, I have passed my test and I will come again to visit. Thanks"

"Thanks for making me feel so welcome and comfortable. As a biker I have turned up very often at short notice, wet and cold. I always leave feeling better though :-)"
