You will find a fascinating choice of rooms at Greylands Guesthouse in Llandrindod Wells. All the rooms have character and style of their own. With attention to detail and meticulous cleanliness standards, they are all comfortable, spotlessly clean and interesting. With antiques and work of local artists gracing every room, the finishing touches are all designed to make you feel at home. Visitors to Greylands can choose between family rooms, double rooms, twin bedded or single rooms. All have en suite facilities apart from one single, which has access to a bathroom close by.

All rooms have television, radio alarm clock and hot drink making facilities. There is free wifi access for guests who need to stay in touch or work while here, and all our guest rooms have blackout blinds for peace, quiet and privacy of our guests.

Room 1, Nightingale
Situated on the first floor at the rear of the building, this quiet, en suite double room offers views over the hills.View room gallery

Room 2, Kingfisher
Kingfisher is furnished luxuriously for a family, with a magnificent antique four poster bed and a comfortable single. The room is at the front of the building and has a well equipped en-suite facility. Click here for room gallery

Room 3, Swallow
This is a single en-suite room located on the first floor at the back of the house. There is a magnificent view from the bedroom window lookking towards the Brecon Beacons. Click here for room gallery

Room 4, Starling
Starling is a single room on the second floor. It is our only room that doesn't have en-suite facilities, but it does have its own private bathroom very close by. This room also has possibly the finest view of all our rooms. Click here for room gallery. Or Click here to view the bathroom

Room 5, Goldfinch
Situated on the second floor at the back of the house, Goldfinch offers great views of the hills surrounding Llandrindod Wells. The room is vibrantly decorated, with two comfortable single beds and has en-suite facilities. Click here for room gallery

Room 6, Woodpecker
This is another family room with a double and a single bed. Woodpecker has a sumptuous, rich colour scheme and is located at the front of the house on the second floor. This comfortable room boasts full en-suite facilities. Click here for room gallery

Room 7, Skylark
Skylark is a great room for anyone working away from home in Llandrindod Wells. The en-suite single room is at the front of the house on the second floor. There is a handy table for use as a desk during your stay and you can be sure of peace and quiet while you work. Click here for room gallery

Communal Areas

Breakfast Room
The breakfast room is conveniently situated on the ground floor at the back of the house. Large windows give great views over the hills, and there is a welcoming hot stove for cold days. The whole room is filled with light and gives a great atmosphere in which to start your day. Breakfast for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike will give you a good fuelling up for a hard day of sightseeing, visiting or work. Whatever you are here in Llandrindod Wells for, you will enjoy the atmosphere and food in our breakfast room. Guests are welcome to use the breakfast room in the evenings for consumption of take-away meals from any of the local outlets.

Guest LoungeThe comfortable, spacious communal lounge is well equipped for comfort and for entertainment. With a large screen TV, a welcoming stove for winter nights and a selection of seating to suit all shapes and sizes, you will feel instantly at home here. As with the guest rooms and other communal areas, the decor has been tastefully updated to present an image commensurate with the age of the building while offering all the comforts of modern living.

Outside areasGreylands Guesthouse is situated very close to the centre of the town, directly opposite the railway station, tourist guide and car park, which hosts the local market too. There is a large supermarket just a short walk along the road and there is a wide selection of shops in the town, just over the railway bridge. The choice of places to eat and drink is varied, from cafés and pubs to restaurants serving British, Chinese, Indian and Thai cuisine. There are numerous take-away outlets offering a great choice too.

There is ample parking on the road outside, opposite and at the rear of the guesthouse. There is also a secure storage garage for bikes, with or without engines. Click here for communal areas photo gallery
