09/09/2013: Enjoy autumn in Powys

Autumn is the season of colour. It can seem like the trees change from one minute to the next as the vista takes on a new look, setting hills and valleys ablaze with vibrant, warm hues.

There are few places in Britain where this is more spectacularly displayed than in the Powys countryside around Llandrindod Wells, where the variety of forestry is as wide as you will find anywhere.

This makes the area a perfect choice for short breaks in the autumn for those who love to paint, photograph, or just stand and observe Mother Nature’s brightest and most varied wardrobe.

Staying at Greylands makes a great base for trips out to many local beauty spots, and Tony’s local knowledge can save you hours of searching to find the best places to start off your exploration of this beautiful area. Your comfort will be well looked after too with rooms that are immaculately maintained, a very warm welcome and a great breakfast to start your day right.
