Greylands Guesthouse for Llandegley
Background
Home to the world famous and fictitious Llandegley International Airport where the only flights taking off are flights of fancy, this small village is in a beautiful area. Climbing up Llandegley Rocks, the highest peak for some way, affords panoramic views of the Radnorshire countryside, as well as opportunities to watch buzzards and red kits swoop majestically in search of prey.
The village has its own sulphur spring and the church is named after St Tecla, who came from Llandegla in North Wales and was martyred in Chepstow, having spent much of her life working with lepers and the sick, great powers of healing are attributed to her.
The village also has its own sulphur spring just outside the churchyard.
