Having taken over the guesthouse in early 2017, Lynda and Larnie bring their own character to the place to offer accommodation in Llandrindod Wells with the friendly approach of a family run bed and breakfast, combined with the efficiency and comfort you may associate with larger establishments.

Having learned their skills training as chefs, working for many years in high profile hotels, Lynda and Larnie pride themselves on helping guests to feel welcome, providing first class surroundings, comfort, peace and quiet. When you first encounter the extensive choice at breakfast in Greylands, you will appreciate the years of training that have been put in to qualify as chefs. Don't forget to mention any special dietary requirements, food allergies or intolerances when booking. Everything is bought in freshly, so all needs can be accommodated.

The Welsh 2 Day Enduro

This fantastic event takes place on June 27/28th this year and always draws a huge international entry. Covering 150 miles of challenging forestry tracks and mixed terrain around Llandrindod Wells, it is a true test of man and machine.

Local competitors always figure strongly with many riders and passengers from Llandrindod Wells, Rhayader and Llanidloes figuring in the 500+ entry list for this season's event. There is great support from local bike dealer, ET James of Rhayader too and the paddock up by Llandrindod Wells lake is always a very lively place to be throughout the event.

There are trade stands selling all the equipment and spares that an enduro rider could need and there is plenty to see both in action around the circuit and colourful characters around the town. We still have a few rooms left for the week of the enduro but early booking is a good idea as accommodation in the town fills up fast.

Home to the world famous and fictitious Llandegley International Airport where the only flights taking off are flights of fancy, this small village is in a beautiful area. Climbing up Llandegley Rocks, the highest peak for some way, affords panoramic views of the Radnorshire countryside, as well as opportunities to watch buzzards and red kits swoop majestically in search of prey.

The village has its own sulphur spring and the church is named after St Tecla, who came from Llandegla in North Wales and was martyred in Chepstow, having spent much of her life working with lepers and the sick, great powers of healing are attributed to her.

The village also has its own sulphur spring just outside the churchyard.

If you are looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay with good access to the Llandegley area, Greylands Guest House in Llandrdindod Wells offers a convenient local base with single, double, twin or family rooms, modern facilities and a quiet location.

Greylands Guest House offers plenty of room, a warm welcome, great breakfast, close to many activities and places of interest near or in LlandegleyThere is plenty here to interest walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, motorcyclists, anglers, golfers and bowls players. The scenery and wildlife variety in the area is outstanding and there is plenty to do whatever the weather.
